On a crisp autumn evening, women from across Birmingham gathered for Red Mountain Grace’s first-ever Dominoes & Desserts — an event that was as beautiful as it was meaningful. Hosted at the club, the night blended laughter, friendly competition, and heartfelt purpose as guests came together to learn more about our mission: providing affordable housing for patients and families traveling to Birmingham for long-term medical treatment.

An Evening to Remember

Tables filled with friends, new faces, and lively games of Mexican Train Dominoes set the stage for connection and community. Between rounds, guests enjoyed delicious desserts, heard moving stories about the impact of Red Mountain Grace, and discovered how every “domino” of generosity helps families find hope and rest when they need it most.

The evening raised a generous sum to support our mission, helping us continue to offer safe, affordable apartments that feel like home for families walking through difficult seasons. Even more inspiring — the majority of attendees were new to the mission. Seeing a new generation of supporters step in with such enthusiasm reminded us that compassion truly has a ripple effect.
